Oceanology International 2020 Careers Day

Following the postponement of the event, please bear with us whilst we reconfirm and update the programme for the amended dates in 2020.  

Oceanology International 2020 welcomes all university students considering careers in the marine sector to visit our free exhibition and technical conferences, over the 1-3 of December. A programme specifically designed for you, will run on Thursday 3 December, detailed below.

    Organised by the Society for Underwater Technology

    SUT would like to invite all students and professionals to their Women in Industry Panel Session.

    The panel will feature senior women engineers and scientists from the subsea and wider marine sector, each sharing insights from their industry and stories of their career progression, successes and challenges. A moderated discussion and audience Q&A will follow the presentations, where students are encouraged to engage the panellists and their peers in conversation.

    If you are considering a career in the subsea or marine sector, don’t miss your chance to network with these senior industry professionals and learn about the varied and exciting career opportunities that are available.

    This panel session will be relevant and open to all students, regardless of your gender!

    The IMarEST will be back to host their popular Careers Workshop for university students and those seeking their first career in the marine sector. This programme will provide invaluable insight and advice as to where students can find support, access important market statistics/job vacancies and network with those already imbedded in marine sector.
