Seiche featured their Digital Thin Line Array. A highly configurable acoustic monitoring system, Seiche’s state of the art array comprises of a set of digital hydrophones and electronics all housed in a 20mm diameter array. Each hydrophone has an integral low noise amplifier and 20 bit A/D convertor providing extremely versatile synchronous sampling. Also included are compact, compass / attitude / pressure / temperature (CAPT) modules to enable environmental and location information to be captured.

Seiche’s new hi-tech array has great potential in the defence and research sectors.

Highlighted items on their stand will be the Digital Thin Line Array; Underwater Acoustics Modelling and Measurement Services; MOST Autonaut; and Marine Thermal Imaging.

Their exhibits were of particular interest to those attending the Ocean Observing Systems: Marine Technology and Services Sector Role in the Blue Economy; Positioning & Metrology; and Unmanned Vehicles and Vessels Showcase.

Seiche was the only marine company in the UK to be ranked in this year’s Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100, a league table of the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK. Seiche is the worldwide market leader in the provision of passive acoustic monitoring (PAM) equipment. Now we are formally launching our consultancy, modelling and measurement services at Oceanology as a one-stop shop Underwater Acoustics Solutions company.
