McLane Research Labs

McLane Research Labs – the McLane stand featured their newest sampler, the Imaging FlowCytobot (IFCB), an in-situ, automated imaging flow cytometer that uses a combination of flow cytometric and video technology to capture high-res images.

They had an operational Imaging FlowCytobot (IFCB) running on the McLane stand. Their Engineering Manager, Tim Shanahan, and their UK rep was on hand to explain and demo the IFCB and their complete product line.

They processed and displayed microbial images from water samples collected during the show from the nearby Thames.

Their exhibits were of use to scientists, biologists, oceanographers and engineers.

They will feature banner stands of their profiler, sampler, and flotation product lines; datasheets, and an opportunity to speak directly with McLane Engineering Manager, Tim Shanahan and their UK Representative, Kelso Riddell of Ocean Instruments.

Their exhibits are of particular interest to those attending the Aquaculture; Hydrography, Geophysics and Geotechnics; and Ocean Observing Systems: Marine Technology and Services Sector Role in the Blue Economy conference streams.

McLane’s sampler products include their newest single event sampler, the WTSLV - dual filter configuration. The WTSLV-DF has dual vertical intake filter holders for simultaneous filtering using two different porosities. This sampler was designed for Geotraces studies.
