Coda Octopus


At Coda Octopus we have continued to develop our unique real-time 3D technology and we now have three different levels of sonar systems for different customer requirements (Echoscope®, Echoscope® C500 and Dimension®).

We have also significantly enhanced our real time 3D solution for breakwater application by further development of our Construction Monitor System (CMS) Software, which includes patented features such as our block tracking algorithms to maintain accurate tracking. This solution is a comprehensive workflow management tool for block placements.

We are the only sonar company with the knowledge and experience of developing real-time 3D sonar technology, and we have continued to push this unique technology across a range of different market applications across the world. Real-time 3D visualisation dominates all other visual markets and underwater is no exception.

Initially we expect to launch enhancements built on our current product line which will realize performance and price benefits whilst we continue to develop new technology derived products and solutions.

Our President of Technology Blair Cunningham delivered a conference presentation on the unique work we completed earlier this year with UTEC in Alaska, when four of our Echoscope® real-time 3D sonars, where simultaneously used to install a huge monopod.

Discussions on our CodaOctopus® Breakwater Construction Webinar were also held.
During the webinar, our President of Technology Blair Cunningham presented the CodaOctopus® solution, our patented 3D Echoscope® sonar combined with our Construction Monitoring Software (CMS), which has been developed over the past 8 years, taking into account our customers experience in breakwater projects across the world. This includes the ability of the software to aid the construction process as a management tool, through visualisation of the design, aiding accurate block positioning and comparison between visualization of neighbouring blocks.

Demonstrations of the the latest patented features which are embodied took place – CMS: Inflation and Occlusion, and how this solution (our real time 3D sonar combined with CMS) enhances the speed, accuracy and safety of operations.
