Mark Hardy, the company’s co-founder, conducted several sessions/ workshops on their LiDAR technology sensor platform. Thw workshops featured their hardware SL1 and SL2, along with point cloud software, and case studies focused on metrology applications.

3D at Depth had their sensors,SL1 or SL2 sensors at OI 2016; animations were featured throughout the entire run of show. Workshops and sessions were scheduled during the run of show.

3D at Depth, founded in 2009, was one of the first companies to take terrestrial LiDAR technology for use in subsea metrology and measure applications. Today the company provides advanced subsea LiDAR systems and solutions designed to help clients build, maintain, map and monitor underwater assets and resources. Their technology has shown significant impact in the overall efficiencies for offshore metrologies in terms of costs savings and delivery of quality, repeatable data. Their platform consists of easy to integrate hardware and software technology that can be deployed in a variety of configurations to leverage survey processes. To date they have completed over 100 metrologies with significant reduction the time to capture the data and return it in a usable, measureable format in line with industry standards.

Their technology is of interest to and use by the offshore oil and gas industry for metrologies, assets deployment and decommissioning; and the research and scientific community, for: environmental surveys, measurements.
