Blue Economy and BlueTech clusters are the appropriate entities to coordinate academia, government, and industry on a region-by-region and country-by-country basis.  International cluster collaboration is essential so we can learn from each other, help each other and our respective members, and to promote a coordinated Blue Voice at national and international levels.  The technical ability and will to develop ocean industries is growing and international collaboration is critical to promote win-win opportunities for our clusters and nations.  Organised by The Maritime Alliance (TMA), this Town Hall session will start with short presentations from leaders of active BlueTech clusters in several countries leading to a moderated discussion with the audience.  TMA is partnered with Reed to launch OI North America in San Diego Feb. 15-17, 2017 and this important discussion and process will continue to evolve from event to event.
