Call for Abstracts

Oceanology International is inviting abstract submissions for presentation within the technical conference programme. Click here to see full descriptions of the topics for submission.

Submittal Guidelines

Deadline: The deadline for subissions is 15 September 2017

Length: The abstract proposal must be no more than 300 words in length

Specifications: The abstract proposal should include a description of the proposed presentation, results/conclusions, and the technical category most applicable to your abstract from the list of sessions. Submissions should be technical in nature as 'commercial pitches' will not be selected.

Permissions: Before submitting an abstract please ensure you have the necessary permissions from your line management and any companies/persons whose material you may be including or referring to in the presentation. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the necessary permissions in place in advance.

If successful: Authors whose abstract proposals are accepted may be required to provide the abstract or an amended version for inclusion in the conference proceedings along with a powerpoint presentation. Full details will be supplied to authors after the selection process is completed in November 2017.

Expenses: There is no fee to present at event and access to the exhibition and technical conference tracks are free of charge. As a result, authors are resonsible for covering their own expenses towards presentation preperation, accomodation and travel.
