Why Visit?

  • Oceanology International is a 3-day, free-to-attend event with over global suppliers, a world-class conference and networking opportunities for suppliers, contractors and end-users in the offshore and subsea industries.

The 2016 event had almost 8,000 attendees and 520+ exhibiting companies from 79 countries.
The exhibition hall hosted the world’s largest display of state-of-the-art marine technologies, many being launched exclusively at OI 2016.

The world-class conferences connected delegates with the latest developments and technology transfer opportunities in developing offshore, marine and subsea sectors.

The 11 vessels alongside The Royal Victoria Dock had a busy time:

    • 1,107 people went aboard for one of the 93 trips
    • 847 people came to see the vessels
    • 142 people attended the dock side demonstrations in the specially sited portacabin.

    • We went to Oceanology to check out suppliers, to compare one product type against another, and to subsequently make a purchase decision. We achieved all three.

    • Great atmosphere. Met many new people. Very interesting. I attended all 3 days.

    • I found it interesting and certainly worthwhile in a number of different business areas. I made some good contacts and I expect several project collaborations will emerge from the event over the coming months.

    • Oceanology International offered unparalleled opportunities. I met with leading professionals and attend forums and seminars with inspiring individuals and companies. I am looking forward to continuing the relations I have formed.
